PAD and PAC work in close synergy, exchanging data, expertise, and operational solutions to offer Marcegaglia customers an increasingly efficient, flexible, and structured service.

This collaboration allows us to closely follow customer needs at all stages, ensuring maximum precision and timeliness.

Together, PAD and PAC satisfy approximately 30% of the European market for custom tube cutting used in the production of mufflers for the automotive sector.

This result confirms the value of a partnership based on reliability, innovation, and shared growth.

Company history

The partnership with Marcegaglia Specialties Spa, which began in 2010, is the result of a shared vision and an industrial approach based on precision, experience, and attention to detail. From the outset, our ability to respond efficiently to growing volumes and complex requests has strengthened the relationship of mutual trust.

Building on this success, the Marcegaglia Group subsequently invited us to open an additional facility close to its end customers, in order to meet the growing demand for automotive exhaust systems on the European market.

In 2016, to support the customer’s expansion, Pantani Divisione Tubi opened a plant in Poland called PAD, located in Gliwice, in the heart of Europe.

This strategic, highly automated plant is dedicated to cutting tubes to size for the automotive sector and is now capable of handling over 10 million pieces per year, with a storage capacity of approximately 6,000 square meters.

The choice of Gliwice also favored the creation of a solid network of suppliers and logistics partners, making PAD a benchmark for production efficiency and speed of service in the European market.
