Corrugated tube heat exchangers deliver significant improvements in heat transfer performance and energy efficiency. The corrugated tube geometry generates controlled turbulence both inside and outside the tube, increasing fluid contact with the surface of the tube and improving the heat transfer coefficient compared to smooth tubes.
In addition, the turbulent effect generated by the corrugated profile provides an important self-cleaning function, significantly reducing the formation of fouling and deposits inside the heat exchanger.
Thanks to their specific structure, corrugated tubes withstand severe thermal fluctuations without the need for expansion joints, making them ideal for systems in the food, marine, chemical, pharmaceutical, and refrigeration industries.
