Extruded tubes are the latest innovation at Valtecno: an advanced technical solution that combines different materials to offer maximum heat transfer efficiency and total protection for the inner tube. The bimetallic structure consists of an inner tube, made from any material, clad with an aluminum sleeve.
Through a cold extrusion process, fins are automatically formed on this aluminum sleeve, creating a continuous finned surface that is mechanically robust and thermally efficient. This type of tube offers high resistance to corrosion, even in marine or chemically aggressive environments, minimizing the need for replacements and maintenance over time.
It is the ideal choice when the operating temperature of the system allows for it, and when a perfect balance between protection, efficiency, and durability is desired. Aluminum extruded tubes are mainly used in air coolers, air preheaters, oil coolers, and steam-air heat exchangers.
